Some remarkable photos. Amazing colors.

Tv streaming sticks have come a really long way and now offer a ton of new features at a substantially lower price on top of that they’re more reliable and just easier to use in general but which one’s actually the best one to buy with so many options out there it can be really intimidating to decide between the chromecast and the roku and the android tvs and there’s so many different options but in this video i’m gonna break down my top five picks for the best streaming sticks that i’ve tested out and i’ll explain why each of them ranks

In five all the way up to one and this is in order of my favorites one being the best but keep in mind that any one of these might be the best one for you and i’ll explain why each one has its own perks so before i get into number five let’s quickly talk about the criteria for this video when i say tv streaming stick i’m talking about things like this fire tv stick right here so everything in this video is going to be some type of little stick or dongle about this size

That can plug into the back of your tv and give any tv or projector or monitor a completely new interface and this is going to allow you to do things like watch netflix or hulu on there or you could even cancel your cable and watch like youtube tv watch actual live tv on there and of course they also have quite a few other features as well including a voice assistant so you could search for the weather you could ask it to change things in your house they work as a smart home hub

So you could change like the colors of your light bulbs or play music on your tv so you get the idea there’s a lot of things you can do with these and everything in this video is capable of doing all of that but let’s talk about what the top five are and what the differences are between them starting off with number five this one is a little bit less exciting than the first four but i want to include it anyway and this is actually the me tv stick so me tv stick is in a group of a lot of

Different tv sticks that are operating on android tv now i also chose the me tv stick to be number five because it does have a very large remote compared to some of the other ones which means you’re slightly less likely to lose it because something like the chromecast remote is so tiny that it’s likely you could lose it in a couch or something now moving up to number four this one is a fantastic device that performs very very well and the reason it’s not ranking higher

However is because it is a little bit more expensive so dollar for dollar value it’s not as good as the first three but if money is not your biggest concern and you’re willing to pay 180 this is the apple tv 4k so this is all around a more premium device more premium build and you’ll know as soon as you’re using it that it is a higher quality than the other devices that doesn’t necessarily mean it has a better interface which is a big factor of the first three

I’m going to talk about but it is going to have more storage on board it’s going to feel really fast really smooth and it gives you a really nice apple experience so if you have ipads and iphones and little apple home minis all around your house then this is going to be a great option for you like i said however this is more expensive selling at 180 i will put a link down in the description for all of these products so if they go on sale for black friday or

Prime day or literally anything else you can definitely go down and check out those links to see what the latest prices actually are now with that being said guys let’s move into number three this one is one of the best sellers in the country tons and tons of people are buying this one i see it absolutely everywhere and it’s a great option all around so this one right here is the fire tv stick 2020. i’ve been testing it out and honestly it works really well you have

Some updated specs on here and it gives you not only a great streaming stick but also a great remote as well it feels more premium than the me tv remote which is very very plasticky this one has a nice little rubbery ring on there and it just feels very nice it also has tv controls so i can turn my television on or off i can change the volume i can mute it and all that’s really nice so i don’t need to have two controllers or remotes next to me at

All time and on top of that it also has a microphone on board which allows you to use the amazon assistant now the fire tv stick is an excellent option because it sells for such a low price now originally it’s listed at 40 but i’m always seeing sales for this on black friday and prime day and a lot of times it’s selling as low as 15 which means that i mean in comparison to the rest of these this is absolutely the cheapest one out there now there is a reason they

Sell it for a lower price and this is because amazon really wants you to be in their ecosystem so when you’re using this one of the drawbacks i’ve found is actually the interface itself even though it works with a lot of other platforms out there and you can get lots of third-party apps like games and different movies and stuff like that the drawback i found was that the interface sometimes feels a little bit cluttered it’s sometimes harder to find specific titles or kind of browse and find a good content style

So when you’re going through a lot of times i find that they have a lot of like prime video being pushed but if you don’t have amazon prime which you don’t need for this they’re still going to push a lot of amazon prime ads to you and try to get you to upgrade so that’s kind of a drawback with the interface for now but if you have this like i said you’re definitely going to be very happy with the fire tv stick now as far as hardware goes the fire tv stick does an excellent job but if you care more about the interface

Which honestly i do because i don’t want to sit here and spend a lot of time looking for titles then the first two are definitely going to be better options for you now before i get into number two i also want to point out that the fire tv stick does have two options so you can either get the fire tv stick from 2020 which is 1080p or you can get the 4k version for an extra 10 dollars so 39.49 now moving up to number two again this is going to have a better interface

In my opinion and a lot of people actually think this one here the roku streaming stick plus should be number one but i’m putting at number two for a reason and i’ll explain that in a second but the roku streaming stick plus is a 4k streaming stick selling for 49 and if that’s too much for you and you don’t care about 4k you could dial that back and get the roku streaming stick not plus and that’s 39 so it’s pretty similar to how amazon was doing that with the regular and the plus or the

Regular and the 4k especially with the same price difference there but the roku streaming stick has some really great features not only with the remote but also with the interface so like i said the interface is going to be a little bit more brand agnostic it’s a lot easier to find titles on any platform out there so if you search something they do a great thing where you can search for any title and it’ll give you a list of where you can actually find that

And the price for each one so you don’t end up spending too much money renting from say amazon when you can instead get it from like walmart’s voodoo or whatever that’s called hey guys a quick aside if you like the style of this video i actually have quite a few more comparison videos coming up as we approach black friday so consider going down and clicking the subscribe button and the bell icon so you don’t miss those videos on top of that if you have apple products it’s really nice to have

The new update on the roku streaming stick plus which does give you airplay so obviously that’s going to allow you if you have ipads or iphones around the house you can cast very easily with that it’s a great feature to have and like i said before they’re definitely more brand agnostic they work with pretty much every every streaming service out there and it’s really easy to use now the interface is very customizable as well you can

Change like the little screen saver to show you the weather or a slideshow so i mentioned that the roku remote has a really nice feature that no other one in this entire video has and that’s definitely a big selling point if you’re considering buying a roku and this is that the remote actually has a headphone jack on there which is a fantastic feature it’s really underrated honestly and i love having it and i’ll explain why so when you have a headphone jack on your remote it actually allows you to watch tv alone if other people are in

The room or in the room next like right next to you or if you want to just listen to something louder so maybe like a scary movie having headphones is a great option for that so i really like using that alright so that brings us to number one the best tv streaming stick you can buy in 2020 in my opinion the one that i use all the time every day the one that i really like to have and i recommend to everybody is the newest chromecast with google tv now i

Reviewed this a couple weeks ago if you want to learn more about that i’ll link down below but to summarize what i really like about this the first thing is that i mean it is basically the first chromecast but now they added an interface so the first chromecast was great because any device you have it’s just so easy to cast your screen or to cast a youtube video from anywhere in the room as long as you’re on the same wi-fi you can just tap cast on any device it’ll show up on your screen and it’s just a really nice

Feature to have and of course some of the other devices have that and that’s not the only reason i like this but now with the google tv interface i think they really brought it to the next level so you have google and youtube they have an algorithm running the background of this one and they’re going to kind of collect all of this and help you find the most interesting content for you and honestly that’s kind of the whole point of a streaming stick in general it’s to really find

Stuff that’s going to be interesting to you so you don’t have to spend a lot of time browsing around the interface trying to find good titles so google tv i think does a great job with that and on top of that especially compared to something like the fire tv stick i like how clean and simple the interface is it shows you titles you can go through the apps if you want to and there are not ads plastered all over this those are two really big reasons right there but on top of that it also uses a lot of things in google

Search when you’re trying to find titles so when you’re searching you can add different movie titles to watch list from your phone or from your laptop and then when you sit down at night and you want to watch a movie you can go back and find those and watch them there so it makes things really easy all around i think the interface is a big positive with this but talking about the physical aspect i think they also did the best job with the design

Where this is going to fit on pretty much any tv unlike the rigid sticks like the fire tv stick and the me tv stick and the roku which would need to have a dongle attached this one basically is a dongle and so can plug in any angle and i never have any problem with it fitting on a tv so you don’t have to worry about dongles it just fits really well with every tv and actually comes in three different colors so the remote here this is the white one but there’s also a bluish one and a

Pinkish one but with that said the remote also has some cool features on board so it does control your television which is cool you have the power button you have the volume button you have a mute button and on top of that you also have an input selection button so i think this is a really great option here so a lot of times if you have a different channel set on your tv you turn it on with whatever with the with the fire tv stick and then you realize oh this is on a different channel or a different input

You have to go and find the actual television remote and then change that to the right input having that on this i think is an excellent option to have now other than that you also have a microphone on here so you do have google assistant and of all the assistants i honestly think google is the superior assistant in my opinion but again that’s not the only thing i liked about this so as far as video quality goes when you’re watching it it does have 4k

Hdr so really high quality has dolby vision and dolby atmos capabilities so great sound great video great color it really gives you an excellent experience selling at just 49 now there are two more reasons i really like the chromecast but one drawback to this one especially compared to the roku streaming stick plus is that it doesn’t have a headphone jack on there you have bluetooth so you can plug in or you can connect bluetooth earbuds but i find that a lot of times they tend to have some lag there

So i mean a headphone jack would be welcomed on this remote regardless the other two things i really like about this you can integrate google photos really easily so if you want a screen saver on your tv of just like a slideshow or maybe you’re having a party and you just want a slide show up anyway and of course the last feature is not actually rolled out yet and this is google stadia so this is a really cool feature if you don’t want to have a physical console on xbox a playstation

You can instead be considering google stadia where you just need a chromecast and the controller so a lot cheaper and a lot easier to bring it around a lot more portable so if you’re interested in that that’s a really cool option and like i said it’s coming out in early 2021 the accessibility on this chromecast here but it’s definitely another reason to be considering this one if you like playing games especially on google stadium so guys those are my picks for the top five

Streaming sticks you can buy in 2020 honestly they’re all fantastic options but those are my picks from five all the way up to one for my favorite streaming sticks comment down below let me know which ones you like better and why if you enjoyed this video consider liking and subscribing thanks for watching i’ll see you next time

It is a beautiful picture with very good lighting :o

What is up guys techrax you're so in this video I did my most most dangerous iPhone 5 test I've ever done on my channel yet I was very scared of myself doing this I poured sodium hydroxide on a heated stainless steel pan now this is a very very strong base it's a chemical not an acid but it dissolves aluminium and glass which are both components of the iPhone 5 and what I did is I pretty much just mixed it around and made sure it you know kind of heated up for a few minutes gave it a few minutes started around uh you know around for a little bit using both stay stainless steel pan and stainless steel tweezers which are

The only thing that is actually resistant to this chemical or else on the pan itself would dissolve so I really do recommend guys do not do this at home I myself shouldn't have I inhaled some terrible fumes during this video and I'm not a chemist this is probably supposed to be performed under a fume hood I did this video anyways for your guys's entertainment so I hope you guys do enjoy your video this is the first step that I did let's go ahead and move on to the second step so after I heated up the sodium hydroxide I got the iPhone 5 and

I I put the stopwatch on and I know I was really off by I'd say maybe 10 11 seconds you could subtract that because it was really really tough doing this at the you know multitasking but I got some water and I poured it over the iPhone and the hydroxide and basically the reaction started to occur iPhone begin you know dissolving and one of the funniest things is you can actually see if you look closely that the screen switches on the iPhone where it says cancel and swipe to shut down those two things rearrange and then you could see the timer it stops at around I'd say 39

40 seconds something goes up and then you have a temperature warning and then looks like you have the Apple symbol and then there it goes off and I believe that's where it really started dissolving you can see this is out I was on we really really afraid myself at this point um you know I was using the gas mask but I was still smelling some fumes so at this point you could see the camera is really wobbly but I was doing my best to capture this on film so after halfway through the experiment I flipped over the iPhone to find that

It was completely white turned from black to white almost a silver metallic II color and at this point I you know I knew I had to stop I could have you know kept going but I just I was really too worried I did it I'm doing this in my own kitchen you know just mine that and I I took some vinegar which is a weak acid and I poured over to you know neutralize his base and get rid of it so I can you know dump it out and it was out it was all splashing you know everywhere on the counter and you know that gets on your skin you're going to the hospital so I managed to neutralize

It and that was that so final recap of what actually happened to this iPhone 5 oh you had a yellow tint on top of the phone on the screen SIM card slot was completely dissolved obviously you had that silver looking color side button was completely gone uh volume rockers were actually still intact and you know clickable I'm home button still there bottom ports were all just messed up up top power button completely gone so that is pretty much it guys for this video I really hope you guys enjoyed this video took me a while to make and as always guys peace out

extremely impressive picture!

What's up guys techrax here it's been a while and before I really get into this video I do want to let you guys know that um had some issues with my account they're now fixed so I'm you know back again and iPhone 5 is you know surprisingly a lot of people you know my like this might hate this but it is getting kind of old you know the new iPhone 5s is supposed to come out literally literally this month at the end of this month I think as well as the iPhone 5c so there's going to be a lot of content on that this could be my last up as you may call it destruction video on particularly the iPhone 5s or not the

5s the iPhone 5 so what we have here is a px 2 60 weatherproof case now if you open it up it says there's like three layers of protection you know it's weather smart it's there's a you literally screw on the case so it's it's a three layer super strong case covers support everything I'm going to put this on and pretty much just try to do everything possible with this case you know throw it with full force do everything I can and then see what happens now keep in mind this iPhone does have a very very slight kind of line crack line along the screen so

That's already been there I accidentally dropped the phone but without further ado guys let's go straight into this and see how this case handles this phone lets go right guys so I screwed in the case and that is kind of one little you know minor I guess setback it is a little tedious screwing in all the case all the little bolts but they include the little tool for you to do so and as you can see the iPhone is in there the iPhone 5 and does retail for $45 let's go ahead and see if it is strong so I normally you guys would see me do something like this that did sounded a

Bit brutal though but I see it still works let's do it again let's kind of do it uh front so does some sound brutal though even though you know the case it almost looks like some sort of Otterbox case are the drop I don't know if it's the bolts but they it does have this kind of heavy impact let's do it again trying to make it kind of directly but you can still see it is doing the job right it is protecting let's go ahead and set it down like this now this will be really really brutal um and take a rock I don't know how heavy this is I wish I

Knew maybe 20 pounds I don't know 20 pounds 25 okay I think this is going to break let's go ahead and just do it from this side first because I'm almost confident that this could break and I'm gonna do it from only this high so let's go ahead and do it oh yeah yeah don't throw a rock at your phone that's the rule number one ah let's go ahead and alright I'm gonna go ahead and just like with full force try and toss it against my house so a lot I'm still working uh case is actually damaged though the case itself and I think that was all from the rock really

I probably shouldn't throw a rock at a phone that's definitely the ultimate destruction test let's do it one more time though ah kind of with full force I felt some glass shatter okay there you go that's a little more like it okay so phone still works I'm going to go ahead and try and unscrew this and see how it looks like from the in alright guys so here's the little screw that I used to unscrew the bolts I'm going to open it up for the first time and see what exactly happened okay back looks almost brand new and I can see how that's possible

Because there is a there's a lot more protection coming from the backside of the phone then obviously the front side because that's where you know you got a type and there's a very thin film uh you know there instead of the back but the back is in great shape the front not so well on the front you know you got your cracks phone still works where we were you know quickly responsive responsibly but overall guys I do recommend this case if you will you know drop it you have you know the general drop or whatever or like it says you know this is the splash or the you know the

Weather smart feature just don't throw a rock on it or don't you know forcefully throw it against the building um because it just won't survive but overall this is a very sturdy case if it's a if it comes down to a drop anyway if it's front side you know back it will survive that's just you guys saw it from the video but that is it for the test guys stay tuned because the next videos will be the brand new iPhone 5s videos thanks for watching guys and as always peace out

Your photos look terrific !!!

Hey what's up guys will here for gsm arena I can't believe that half of 2019 has come and gone already and we've seen so many smartphone releases it's a lot to keep track of so we've put together a list of some of the best phones we reviewed so far this year that are arranged by price category but otherwise there are no particular order and if any of these pick your interest you can find links down in the description below for each one's full review so let's get started with the lower mid-range category these phones cost the equivalent of 200 euros or less but they may surprise you with the amount of

Value they offer first up we have the real me 3 the least expensive option on this list maybe by Oppo sister company real me this is the best choice in this category performance wise with his Helio p6 e or P 70 chipset depending on the market battery life is stellar and the camera performance isn't bad either it has a large LCD screen though a 720p isn't the sharpest one around just keep in mind that the real main 3 is hard to find outside of select regions next we have the redmi note 7 also called the note 7s in the indian market this phone checks all the boxes it has sturdy build

Quality an excellent battery life performance is solid with this snapdragon 616 chipset the camera is great too you've been able to go head-to-head against some flagships one of our only nitpicks is that you can record 4k video natively but you can't get around this by downloading a third-party camera app our next category is for proper mid-range and upper mid-range phones these are going for around 400 euros or less expect a bit more from these guys feature wise but they still come with some compromises we'll start off with the Samsung Galaxy

A 50 we like this phone's eye-catching finish and it's AMOLED panel is great even though it does have a notch cutouts battery life is impressive to the triple camera setup has a main cam an ultra wide and a depth sensor and it does well in good lights but poorly at night you don't get 4k video recording here we also didn't like the loudspeaker quality which is really lacking in the high frequencies if you're looking for an upgrade over the a 50 you might look no further than the Galaxy a 70 for just 50 euros more the galaxy a 70 brings a

Bigger screen and better performance with a snapdragon 675 battery life is quite similar to the a 50 though you do have faster power delivery charging here there are also higher resolution main cameras on both the front and the back but we still didn't like the low-light shots from the a 70 and there is 4k video recording but it doesn't have stabilisation next is a Xiaomi me 9 this upper mid-range er comes with a good-looking notched OLED screen and a flagship level Snapdragon 855 chipset battery life is great too and there's

Fast charging plus it has a triple camera setup with a regular telephoto and ultra wide can and they do a pretty good job we do wish there was oh is on the camera though and storage isn't expandable oh and there's no headphone jack here if you've got your eye on the mean 9 the upcoming knee 90 or K 20 will be a cheaper version you'll have a natural AMOLED screen a public selfie cam and probably better battery life on to the next category 500 euros or less these phones aren't quite full on flagships but they're just about there may be lacking in just a couple of

Features first we have the pixel 3 Axl in a lot of ways we prefer this phone over it's more expensive flagship siblings it has much better battery life and includes a headphone jack while still bringing a nice OLED screen and flagship grade quality with its single camera it doesn't have a flash upgrade chipset but it's not bragging 670 with just four gigs of RAM also storage is an expandable here next the Asus zenfone 6 there's a flagship level Snapdragon a 55 for grid performance and with a five thousand milliamp hour battery battery

Life is excellent you even get a headphone jack you don't get an OLED display but an IPS LCD though it is totally notch less the zenfone 6 brings a unique flip design that allows you to take regular photos ultra wide photos and selfies with the same camera setup these are good quality to the low-light performance isn't the best out there and now we've reached flagship territory all of these phones are selling for more than 600 euros in some cases way more but if you're looking for the most cutting-edge device it's not gonna come cheap here we go

First we have the oneplus 7 pro this phone isn't marketed as a gaming phone per se but it can give them a run for their money it has blazing fast performance with a snapdragon 855 chipset and options of up to 12 gigs of ram as well as a large OLED display with a fast 90 Hertz refresh rate and you have stereo speakers too the screen is notch less as the selfie cam is on a motorized slider it's triple camera setup is a bit behind the other flagships quality Wireless and we wish storage was expandable battery

Life is decent but nothing amazing and like many other flagships he says there's no headphone jack here moving on to the Huawei P 30 Pro it's the latest and greatest from Huawei with a cutting-edge chipset and excellent battery life it's most impressive feature is this triple camera setup which provides five times optical zoom and outstanding shots even at night thanks to advanced processing we do wish you could record 4k video at 60fps and there's no audio jack here and storage is expandable but you need to use one of Huawei's proprietary and M cards to do

It it also isn't really clear if the p30 pro will hold its value as the future of huawei is a bit up in the air due to the USA ban if you want to avoid this the Oppo Reno 10 times zoom is a potential alternative this phone stands out from the pack with exceptional battery life and VOC fast charging it also has a pop-up selfie cam but this one has a unique shark fin design because of that the Ola display is not less and there are stereo speakers as well but no headphone jack of course you had the latest Snapdragon chipset under the hood so performance is

Top-notch his triple cameras perform great too though the default zoom levels aren't optical but actually six times and ten times hybrid zoom and for some reason video recording is only available through the main camp next we have two phones which are almost identical the Samsung Galaxy has 10 and the s10 plus they both bring the latest chipset as well as an incredible dynamic AMOLED screen with the hole punch cutouts the plus models cutout is larger thanks to his dual selfie can both have stereo speakers and a headphone jack yes 10 plus also has a bigger battery so it has

Good battery life compared to the s tens which is just average yes 10 and as 10 plus have excellent camera performance with their triple cameras taking great shots no matter the conditions and finally we have the Sony Xperia one it has a class-leading 4k HDR OLED screen with a 21 by 9 aspect ratio as well as stereo speakers ideal for a cinematic experience of course with the latest chipset the gaming experience is great too and the tall screen is also nice for scrolling apps and multitasking the triple cameras have great performance I can go head-to-head against any other

Flagship out there as for negatives the side mounted fingerprint reader isn't too reliable battery life is average and there's no headphone jack so there you have it guys a summary of this year's hottest smartphone so far if you're looking to buy a new phone this is a good place to start there are a couple of things to keep in mind though don't forget about older devices from 2018 or even earlier you can find some pretty nice deals out there and of course this list is just from our own reviews on our channel did we miss any that you're excited about let us know down in the

Comments below as always thanks for watching and see you on the next one you

Your photos look great !!!

Here at Google i/o 2016 there's a lot of new stuff to see Android auto has been updated a little there's some new stuff in there and there's a video that you can check out on that as well on this very channel but what we're going to talk about here is the Android in-car concept Google worked with Qualcomm to effectively tear apart a Maserati yeah pretty red Maserati and replace the dash components and the gauge clusters on that dash with screens that are powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor running full on Android this Android in-car concept is an attempt to see what

Android might look like if it were handed off to the OEMs in terms of cars a lot in the same way we hand off Android to OEMs who manufacture devices this is a full version of Android running on an actual car and what this means is that you can do a lot more things with Android this is a really big deal because with the projected version of Android auto is running on the device that's plugged into the car and you're only seeing different things on the display in this case the car is actually running Android so what that means is that you have a

Lot more control over the actual vehicle if you've ever seen what a dashboard looks like in a test slot it's a lot like that you can control seats heat and cooling any of the amenities that are in the vehicle can be controlled through this Android implementation of course since this is Android there's a really nice tight integration with Google services and all of those other features from Android auto are definitely still very much there you still connect to your phone via bluetooth for calls and music and things of that nature but the device that's running Android in this

Case isn't the phone it's the car itself this is also a big deal for manufacturers because if they were looking to implement some sort of an infotainment version of Android they'd have to look to an older version of Android and sort of kind of finagle it to work whereas this in-car implementation has been built from the ground up for the kinds of features and API endpoints that these manufacturers might need you guys want to know more about this particular implementation of Android in vehicles you can head over

Please calm you got a whole bunch more information by our very own David Ruddick thank you guys so so much for watching and has always been kind of one or another and I'll catch in the next video

Some terrific pictures. Fantastic colors.

What's up guys my percenter here with android police and we're talking Android auto we're not talking about Maseratis this time there's a separate video for this brand new in-car concept that Google is working on you can go check out right here on the channel as well but for this one we're just gonna talk about what's new in Android auto here at Google i/o 2016 first and foremost you're gonna recognize a friendly face Waze is now available on the Android auto platform it was asked for and Google delivered Google is working very closely with manufacturers like Honda and Hyundai for these OAM apps and what

They're really doing is just working as closely as they can with these OEMs to make sure that the OEMs data can make it into Android auto their data is not going to be handled the same way but it does offer the user a ton of great new functionality that they did not have before notifications and functionality associated with the vehicle itself will be exposed to the user through this new area the car can let you know about your tire pressure your check engine light see what's actually wrong with your engine for that matter all the things that you would expect your car to be

Able to message to you can now happen for Android auto if you don't have an Android auto ready car that's not that big of a deal anymore either because now you can actually run Android auto on your phone as a standalone device it's not too terribly fancy it's effectively just a driving mode really big old icons lots of things that are nice and easy to see nothing too too small and not a whole lot of functionality most of it is really just what you get in Android auto but on your phone finally we did hear some rumors we did not get a chance to see it in action

But it looks like Android auto is very soon gonna be getting the ability to connect to your car over Wi-Fi not through a wired connection that's a big deal for those of you who have a problem with plugging things in though it's not a big deal for me because I feel like if I'm in the car I'm going to be charging my phone anyway let me know what you guys think about all these new additions to Android auto do you have a car with Android auto in it are you gonna be getting these updates if so let me know down in the comments let me know what else Android auto is missing down in the

Comments as well maybe Google's reading as always thank you guys so so much for watching be kind of one another and I'll catch in the next you

Thanks for including the attractive pictures-- so open to a sense of reflection.

What's up guys my first center here with Android police and we're here in beautiful Mountain View California for Google i/o 2016 we saw a lot of cool stuff this morning at the keynote the biggest thing that was really the most far-reaching was Google Assistant and Google assistant is kind of like the newest version of Google if you think about it that way Google system is the next iteration the next evolution of the natural language processing and really intense deep learning that Google's machines can do Google assistant is now more aware of your context than it ever has been before and what exactly that

Means is that your phone is gonna be able to use the data that's available to it to be able to fill in the gaps in your life so the example that sundar Pichai used when he was on stage was if you're a Chicago at the bean and you ask his phone who designed this your phone will actually have the correct answer if you're running the most recent version of Google assistant so where else could Google assistant be like really useful at home right yeah you have your phones at home but it's not always the most convenient in fact it's often not the most convenient to whip out your phone

And ask it a question well Google home is here to solve that problem for you or at least according to Google this device has so much functionality and Amazon Alexa functionality built-in or Amazon echo if you want to name things correctly Google home will answer any of your questions thanks to a far far reaching mic that can listen to you from across the room Google home will also be able to handle things like tasks calendar events things of that nature anything that Amazon's echo already does for the most part it's a beautiful-looking device – you can

Actually swap out the bottom piece of it with any color or material you want to match your home decor we don't have a lot in terms of release dates just yet Google did say fall of this year but we don't know exactly when we're gonna see a Google home for ourselves Google a low or a lotta night is there new chat client and I know we didn't exactly need another messaging client from Google but we've got one so let's deal with it okay so it's got Google assistant built-in and that's the really cool part about it while you're having conversations with your friends and family Google assistant

Can chime in with really helpful stuff like quick replies and quick replies that can actually pay attention to what is inside of images that you're sent hello isn't just about the artificial intelligence though it's also much better than hangouts and basically anything else we have seen from Google when it comes to chat there's a new feature called a whisper chat which lets you change the size of the text or whatever message it is that you're sending from larger to smaller so you can say something really loudly without using caps luck and you could say

Something really quietly which EGIS just wasn't really possible before the other side of a low is duo and duo is a video focused app that is just for one-to-one video calls you will notice that there was a major problem with video calls people weren't answering them they have a ton of data to work off of it and you know what anecdotally I can agree with that when someone video calls me I'm not trying to answer that right away I don't know why you're calling me what's your deal knock-knock a new feature in duo allows you to see the person who's calling you in real time so

You know why they're calling you it gives you contexts the same idea as giving Google more context about the questions we're asking give us more context to know whether or not we should answer this phone call the cool thing is since Google has so much experience with WebRTC they actually made sure that the entire experience is totally feelings from start to finish and in the demos that's exactly what we saw the phone rings you see the other person on the other line you answer the call and suddenly they see you – it's really incredible there's

No latency in answering that call and there's no lag I'm excited to try both of these we haven't gotten our chance to have our hands on them of course but the second we do you better believe you're gonna be the first ones to know I think they're gonna be pretty cool and pretty fun I just wish they would kill the rest of the messaging apps it's too much I know a lot of us were excited to see what Google was up to when it comes to VR but I was kind of disappointed all we really got in terms of hardware were some design references and that's about it at least in terms of hardware when it

Comes to software we'd have a brand new experience called daydream daydream is intended to be the sort of benchmark when it comes to VR so devices can be daydream compatible daydream enable daydream ready as long as they have the specs and necessary to be able to support a great virtual reality experience at least as it pertains to Google don't worry though because most of the devices that we have in our pockets these days are already we already every major OEM is slated to create a device that stay dream ready in the coming year so don't worry the

Device that you love it's gonna be daydream ready at some point soon it doesn't stop there though Google went so far as to create their own home screen for their new virtual reality ecosystem and inside of daydreams home you can actually access Google Play YouTube Street View Google Play Movies a lot of the experiences that you're used to on the Google ecosystem are all available in virtual reality and daydream finally Google hit us with a bit of a whammy there's a new Android initiative focus around fast app installs and go I'm not just talking about the GNU Compiler and

Android and I'm talking about app installs imagine if someone sends you will link to something like BuzzFeed video or some app that you don't actually have installed well normally the flow would look like you click on the link you go to the site you either watch the content there on the subpar experience or if you want to have a positive expression you're not the first one or you can go and download the app and then click on the link and have a native experience well what if you didn't have to do either of those what if you could click on the link and

Android just knew what pieces of the app to download so you can experience it as if you had an app that's exactly what instant apps promise click on that link and instantly you download just the piece of the app that you need to be able to display that content and that entire piece is a full-on experience now obviously that requires developers to be able to put the time in to make sure that they have modularized their app so to speak effectively they're gonna need to split out chunks that they're out for the different use cases that they're going

To need so that we can download the appropriate one when necessary when all is said and done when it works correctly it's a really really cool feature to be able to have access to a native experience without having to install an app it's just huge and it really did blow most of us a danger police away sorry I wasn't around to do the last bit of this video on camera as you can see there were a ton of fun activities planned for the evening a show by kygo and Charli XCX so there's a whole lot more to come from here around California for i/o 2016 keep it stick tuned right

Here on Android police for all that great Android goodness and as always think you all so so much for watching be kind of one another and I'll catch you in the next video

Thanks for featuring the attractive pictures-- so open to a feeling of reflection.

New iPad delivery I think just want to show you guys one thing first though packing game on point look how clean everything is for clear totes this guy is full of this guy still needs to go but clean packing is on the way so the time that this exact video goes up I think it's gonna be t minus 16 days till the big move obviously we have a new delivery today and as expected the sixth generation iPad the one that is cheap ish so the six gen 32 gigs this is the entry-level will retail now for 329 if you're in the education space you can grab it for 300 kind of bringing iPads to the masses quick little update though

Before we head into the studio we have a giveaway winner update could you do this was from the Space Gray $20,000 setup Congrats to daniel Jameson I just sent you a message on YouTube Thank You Mac Book for letting me know I have text messages just remember that I send everyone a message first on YouTube just to verify that it's your account so once you've set me back the confirmation then we'll swap that email and you will have a very nice space great item for your set up now let's get back to of course iPad I was gonna say pro 6 gen iPad details kind of see the Thoth gauge

Starting to come out in the studio too fitting wearing gray for a Space Gray video so the new 2018 iPad here it is and I obviously have my iPad pro this is the 10.5 inch so the key difference is the biggest thing of course between these two guys is the price as I said this one starting off at 329 or 300 if your student wear the iPad pro is a whopping 650 dollars so that's almost double the price I can do my math key differences physically first this has a nine point seven inch compared to the iPad pro which is either a ten point

Five or a twelve point nine twelve point nine I believe the screen on the iPad isn't laminated so there's a slight little air gap you can kind of tell the difference when you've got both side-by-side but if you've only just got this guy in front of you unless you're a really really big techie you might see the slightest gap the iPad pro screen obviously has a wider color gamut it's got an increase refresh rate but don't get me wrong the one on the iPad still totally fine still totally usable the thing that I actually dislike the most is the bezels surprisingly I've got used

To how pretty the iPad pro looks and this one does seem a bit chunky big forehead big chin it still has touch ID but it's the sides that I really noticed yeah that's kind of what you're getting at and I'm not complaining too much I know this is the sixth gen it's essentially just a spec upgrade from the fifth gen but the biggest thing that I said we now have full support for this guy the Apple pencil which isn't included an extra hundred dollars Apple knows how to gouge you but it will finally work with this iPad bringing out my inner student I downloaded frog a

Pity I will leave it link down below but you can essentially look through all stages of a frog in AR and of course it supports the Apple pencil and I've learned a couple things kind of upgrading my bio degree internally we've got essentially what the iPhone 7 and 7 plus was that's the a10 and m10 motion coprocessor so it zips through everything just fine I do think though the iPad pro is snappier obviously it does have the latest and greatest internals whereas this guy is more suited as entry-level for most people out there I honestly think this is

Totally fine especially for most things people use tablets for media consumption browsing the net watching YouTube videos playing a couple of games I think that is what the iPad pro is truly suited for but the thing that I thought was weird the iPad pro does have magnetic mount so you can pair that with say the smart Keyboard perfect for students wanting to take notes in class but strangely enough the entry-level iPad doesn't even though I think this is tuned for stoops I find that a tad bit weird we also lose out on two speakers we only have the bottom

Facing ones on the iPad and also unfortunately for all those people out there that love to snap pics with your iPad I know you guys are out there on the traditional one I believe this is the camera from the iPhone 6 whereas the iPad pro has the upgraded one I don't think that's too big of a deal breaker it's mostly the front-facing can which I tend to use when I'm say facetiming my parents sadly on the iPad we still have a 1.2 megapixel camera we're in 2018 and that's still a thing but other than that those are pretty much the changes coming to the 6 gen iPad I love that Apple is

Keeping this budget-friendly 329 dollars isn't in pod for an entry-level iPad they used to start at 4 500 bucks so nice to see these things coming down in price I love the fact that I can now use my Apple pencil it works exactly like on my iPad pro I can sketch with it it is pressure sensitive and when I need to juice it up 15 ish minutes gets you around 80 ish percent because no matter what this charging mechanism will never kind of get old for me an apple lolli anyways let me know your thoughts down below on the new budget-friendly and cheap I will put that in quotes because

Apple is never considered cheap iPad curious to hear your thoughts and I will catch the rest of you of course in one of my next episodes or one of my next vlogs probably more packing will be taking place base
